A Hero's Journey
Doc Rocco, whose middle name was Rocco, earned his nickname from the Marines he fought alongside on the battlefield. His humility, boundless compassion, and ever-present smile endeared him to all who knew him. After the events of 9/11, he decided to enlist in the Navy as a Corpsman, a role dedicated to saving lives on the front lines. Doc Rocco served two tours of duty, embodying the selflessness and sacrifice of our military.
A Shared Passion for Food
Our story is not just one of heroism; it's also about the joy of food and camaraderie. Many of our fondest memories were forged at Doc Rocco's parents Italian restaurants. There, we discovered the magic of creating our own pizzas and developed a deep love for cooking. The market was a haven of exceptional food, warmth, and laughter—a place where everyone was family.
